A Response To: MARK OF THE BEAST: Bill Gates Wants Every Person On Earth To Receive A Vaccination with DIGITAL ID. So how does this line up with scripture? Well the best place to start is in the Scripture:

  • God was, is and always will be (Exodus 3:14, Revelation 1:2)
  • Scripture is the Word of God; He says what He means and means what He says. It is eternally established and not changed (Psalm 119:89) or nullified by cultural context or developments of so-called science
  • All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:10-12,24)
  • The wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23)
  • But the gift of God is eternal life (Romans 6:23)
  • There is only one way to God and that is through Christ (Yeshua) (Acts 4:12)
  • If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. (Romans 10:9)
  • God created the world and it has a shelf-live that will expire (Genesis 1:1, 2 Peter 3:10)
  • God is going to Call his Bride (the Church) home (1 Thessalonians 4:16) the actual tribulation before (1 Thessalonians 5:1-11); this does not mean that believers will not go through hard times before then (Hebrews 11, Fox’s Book of Martyrs, Voice of the Martyrs, 2 Timothy 3:12)
  • As Children, if God, our hope is summed up in the Word, “Maranatha” (Revelation 22:30). In fact, the end of time is a great encouragement and motivation for us (1 Thessalonians 5:11, 1 John 3:2-4, 2 Timothy 4:8)

Further to the above, it is important to note that Jesus and his disciples lived under the Godless rule of Roman. It was a time much like today with similar blatant and flagrant sinfulness as we see today. Despite this, we do not see Christ encouraging protests or getting involved in movements to change society. Instead, He encourages his disciples (and thereby those of us coming after them) to not worry about this life but to seek first His kingdom (Matthew 6:31-33). While it is true that this is referring to provision for our lives, nowhere do we have evidence of Christ or the disciples shifting their focus from reaching the world with the Gospel to that of getting involved changing evil laws and policies of the land. Christ’s response to paying taxes (Mark 12:17) and his discourse with Pilate (John 18:36) further confirm this approach to these things. One last point, except for harsh words to the so-called religious leaders, Christ never attacks the world, rather He weeps for them, willing all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4, 2 Peter 3:9).

So, getting back to the video:

  1. Yes, we are living in the last days, all though we do not know the exact time that God will call the Church home (Matthew 24:36). We are however encouraged in many places to watch and pray, being vigilant of the times. One thing is definite:
  2. (Rom 13:11-14 NKJV) 11 And [do] this, knowing the time, that now [it is] high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation [is] nearer than when we [first] believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to [fulfil its] lusts.
  3. We need not fear what is about to come on the earth as our God is in control.
  4. We are not safe because of the decisions that we take but rather because our God has His hand upon us.
  5. This earth is not our home; our hope and aim is Christ (Philippians 3:14-15); and to be together with him in glory: Maranatha.
  6. I see scripture as teaching that the mark of the beast will only be enforced post rapture (this is a whole separate study by itself). This said we may, and I believe are seeing the development and implementation of the technologies that could be used to manage this as well as the social engineering for society to accept this. In this area, the video makes some good comments. One final comment in this area is best summed up by a friend of mine, “The idea that we can take the mark of the beast unwittingly is false. Revelation 14:9; 14:11; 16:2; 19:20 and 20:4 all connect the taking of the mark with worshiping the beast. Even if we are not raptured before the tribulation, it is impossible for true believers to take the mark disguised as a vaccine, bar code, or something else. it is a positive decision linked with worshiping him.”
  7. While the video contains some truths the spirit behind it is concerning. It does not seem to have a message of hope but rather appears to stimulate fear and angst which is contrary to the message of the Good News (Gospel). Also, it does not represent our Lord well i.e. the antagonism towards the lost and ungodly, and the speech describing what the speaker would like to do with the syringe does not reflect the heart of my Lord who died, was buried, and rose again so that we all might be saved (Isaiah 53).

So, to sum it up in a short paragraph. Yes, I believe that we are living in the very last days. Yes, the days are evil, and Satan is going to have his way with the world. This said, through Christ and the Scriptures, we have always known these things. So, let us observe the signs, draw near to our God, redeem the time (Ephesians 5:1- 21) and rejoice for we are about to be called home to our King (John 14:1-3).
