M&M's or the Balloon

Twelve balloons are inflated, each having a piece of paper mentioning a prize. The prizes range from one really nice prize, down to a few booby-prizes. 

A participant is selected from the crowd and asked to select a balloon. This balloon is popped and then piece of paper mentioning the prize, given to the show master. 

The show master now offers the participant a certain number of M&M's for the undeclared prize. If the participant rejects his offer, the show master may offer them more M&M's or read out the prize and allow then to keep it. If the participant accepts the M&M's then then the M&M's are handed across.

The non-claimed prizes are only read out at the end of the game.

Examples of booby-prizes: used toothbrush, cracked glass, empty toilet roll, chewed gum etc

Average prize: $2 shop items, box of chocolates, magazine etc
