Rafts
The following activity needs to take place on water.
Each participant will need a life-jacket.
The group is divided into suitable teams.
Each team is given:
- Four lengths of rope
- Four large drums (plastic or metal)
- Six lengths of bamboo
Teams then race to construct a raft and sail it, carrying all their team members, around a buoy and back to land.
Prizes can be given for the following:
- First team to complete everything.
- Best raft
- Worst raft
- Most interesting raft
- Most team spirit
